Note To Self: Let God Be God

Sacred1_1
"Everyday life is the prayer. How we conduct it,
cherish it, celebrate it, consecrate it."
~Sarah Ban Breathnach

Just posted my weekly stretch over on zena musings, which highlights a simple yet profoundly revolutionary (for me) let go and let God action I took this week.

A totally unexpected bonus is how doing this has freed up my mind from its usual whirling, worrying, fantasizing, outcome-wondering and trying to direct the Universe -- which is both exhausting and futile anyway! Julia Cameron writes, "When we let God be God and work through us, we experience both a sense of serenity and excitement."

I am finding this practice the absolute pivot point of my serenity and peace of mind.
