Thursday night I had the privilege of listening to and experiencing the majestic grace of Leonard Cohen. The Seattle Times ran a short but sweet concert review. Seeing him live was a dream come true! And sharing the experience with my beautiful new girlfriend Heidi enhanced the evening's magic. There are moments, sometimes strung together one after another in unbroken succession, when life offers sheer perfection. Thursday night was such a time.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in.

What a joy! I love the poetry of his songs and his humor in all things. I'm so happy (and slightly envious) that you were there to hear in person! How amazing that must have been to witness and to share with someone you love. Blessings!

I saw him here in Hamilton, Ontario last year after a lifetime of loving him and despairing that he'd never tour again!
I'm so glad you got to see him. It's an incredible show!

I passed up the chance to see him last year, and was so, so happy to get the chance again! I have a ticket for a July concert, and cannot wait!

He will be here in NY on the 16th. I absolutely love this guy. Practically all I play in the car. Great photo of him.
