Raw, vulnerable and tired lately, but also deeply gratified by work which is already ramping up for the holidays! Sometimes missing the past knocks me on my ass, but my list of gratitudes for today usually gets me back on my feet. Yesterday was a super long workday and I ended the day without steam for Sacred Life Sunday.
When my insides are tender and sore, I need to stay close to what comforts me and avoid what harms. Tonight I chose to cross another blog off my list. I also need to protect my time and make sure not to overbook, not only to rest and recharge, but also so that when frustrating snafu's occur -- like suddenly not being able to get online yesterday (eek!) -- I can spend the necessary 2+ hours troubleshooting with Qwest and Dell without turning into a stark raving lunatic.
Pivoting to the positive, one of my creative and spiritual mentors, Sister Kathryn, started a new blog called Hearth Talks. I love this woman! She is a powerful expression of the Divine and her art graces every single one of my altars. Please stop by and say hi if you have a chance!
