For the next 38 hours, I'm in seclusion, on a personal retreat in my home.
Yesterday afternoon I hit a wall of exhaustion, but somehow managed to honor my commitments last night and today. I promised myself that after my workerbees left today, I would see no one and go nowhere until Saturday morning.
I've needed soothing, healing, quiet, gentle, sacred solitude for a long, long time.
No dogs, no humans. Just me -- tucked away with a fresh stack of library books, a clean bathtub, food, sunshine and a garden in full bloom. Bliss.

I hope you have a wonderful retreat. It does truly sound like bliss :) Sending you peace, rest, and love, Olivia

Peace is an inner journey that starts with a still and quiet space within. Sometimes one has to let go of the business to find the stillness. Once there, a time of creating newness can take place in the silence and the stillness....but then, you know that already. much love and many blessings, Kathryn

mmm, sounds wonderful. And Kathyrn's comment is lovely. This is a state that I am really working to achieve myself. I have the physical space for it in my single home, I just need to find the emotional and mental space for it too! I hope your time was peaceful and rejuvenating.
