You know that saying, if you want to make the gods laugh, tell them your plans?
I was all set to write yesterday. What a glorious day for writing it was! Dark skies. A gentle rain. Windbursts. Sleepy Dobies content to nap. Perfect conditions to unplug the phone, light a candle for writing and let the muse flow.
And then... *POP*
Silence. Darkness. Argh! No electricity! Out here in the boonies, when we lose power, which is often, it's at least several hours before it's restored. I didn't feel like writing longhand, so I took Silas to the dog park where we had an absolutely cRaZyFuN time.
Afterwards, on the spur of the moment, I attended a support group I hadn't planned to make.
Not at all what I'd planned, yet a totally delightful spontaneous day! What made it extra great was that I was actually able to flow and *enjoy* moment by moment, rather than getting caught up fretting over what I wasn't able to accomplish.
This morning I'm off to meet someone I've never met before (and am really excited to meet) for a healing session. Then lunch with my new friend Noelle. At least that's the plan. Right God? :)
